K2: Noah's Dream

Noah curled into bed later than usual that night. His mom came into his room and tucked him in after their long day. He drifted off into a deep sleep when his dreams started to run wild. Little did he know, his dreams were putting on a performance right in front of him. As his first dream started, he was sailing on a huge ship, surrounded by sword swinging pirates. His bedroom floor turned into the rough waters of the ocean and his bed was the ship. His little LEGO men turned into life size pirates. Suddenly, Noah was awake with a sword by his side to fight back. Swords kept flying close, lightly brushing his Cars pajamas and puncturing small holes into them. He got close enough to push what looked like the leading pirate overboard. He prepared himself for the remaining shipmates to attack, but then he heard the clatter of the swords on the ship’s deck. He realized they have dropped their swords and were throwing up their hands in excitement. They all rushed towards him as the ships rushed towards the land in which the pirated called home. Noah was carried off the ship, over the shoulders of the pirates and was set down as a king’s crown was set upon his head. Quickly, Noah was awake in his bed, sweating with excitement. He looked around his room at what was just a raging ocean not that long ago. He felt like the whole dream was real. He rolled out of bed and slipped on a puddle of water. As he grabbed the edge of bed for support, he noticed one of his LEGOs, a pirate, laying in the puddle. He walked towards the kitchen and noticed a small puncture in his pajamas, from what could have been a sword. As his mom asked how he slept, a smile crept up on his face. Now he understood why his room looked like a hurricane tore through it when he woke up every morning.
